I passed my board exams in the navy yesterday; yup I am now E-2 (seaman apprentice) an instant advancement while waiting for my ship date. I was happy for real, and then when I got home, while saying to my family members how hard was it; Erika of manpower (an agency) called me and gave me an assignment. She sent me at star bucks who would pay me more per hour. That’s too much for me but I grapple it. It was like that I am a star for a day and to know that McDonalds gave me the schedule that I wanted but now I have to cancel it. I’m now ready to go in the navy and got a good job while waiting but yesterday I went to library to check my mail. I receive a horde of pictures about what happened to Philippines. The seminary was devastated by typhoon Winnie and by the flood. What’s happening to my home. 3 straight typhoons, many got homeless, numerous died and missing and various totally turned their life in despair. I can’t believe what I saw in Tfc and how passionate it is. I hope I can help (I hope I can do something) when the whole thing seems right for me, it seems the whole lot is wrong at home. I will start my new job tomorrow from 3 pm to 11:30 pm. I hate the schedule but this is the only available time. I took my orientation and drug screening this day with my mom and auntie levi.
